My name is Shakira Thomas. I am currently studying at Brooklyn College, majoring in Earth and Environmental Sciences. I am interested in marine ecology as I find much of the environment fascinating. I enjoy gardening various plants on my balcony during the spring and summer seasons. I am also interested in history, especially those focused on natural disasters like tornadoes and volcanoes.
